During the months of March 27th to June 12th , 2021, the Hershey Area Art Association (HAAA) will be exhibiting over 30 art pieces from local area artists at the Hershey Public Library’s Hallway Art Gallery and Display Case in Hershey, PA. Featured artists include: Victoria Abramczuk, Beverly Barley, Wendy Craig, Christina Kraybill, Marie Gamon, Marcia Leister, Ella Lute, and John Roach. Piano Night in the r.g. (Reading Garden) at the Hershey Public Library is open to any piano performer age 9 or older who wishes to share their talent and music with the community. Join Knotting Tides and Terrarium Therapy at the Hershey Public Library for a fun and educational collaboration. The art of Kokedama literally translates from “koke” meaning moss and “dama” meaning ball. Kokedama is a traditional Japanese art form where the ball of soil is covered in moss to host a plant. Although this program is from the Hershey Public Library, please register through Eventbrite.com for a series of 6 virtual classes to be held on Google Meet. Participants choose to write memoir, essay, biography, epistle, lyric essay, meditation, or a combination of several forms. Class fee: $65.
