From A to X: Art creation to eXhibit
Join CPARC and The Carlisle Arts Learning Center (CALC) for a six-week art inclusive art class that is designed for folks with and without intellectual and/or developmental disabilities! CALC's paint nights include all materials and instruction as well as refreshments in an enjoyable, supportive atmosphere. Paint nights welcome participants of all experience levels. Greeting Cards for Charity
Enjoy a fun, creative class as you make a special and meaningful card for a child who is sick in the hospital. You will make between 2-3 handmade greeting cards in this class as you follow some guidelines on content. A fun day of making art and friends! Bring and swap materials with other artists, create hand-painted papers and monoprints, and swap artist trading cards. Work along with other CALC artists! The evening begins with a 15-30-minute demonstration of various techniques followed by a 2-hour independent work session to work on your own project. Art for the Holidays at CALC
Art for the Holidays is the annual fine arts and crafts boutique of CALC members and a unique display of holiday cheer. The G. B. Stuart Gallery at CALC will be transformed into an artists' marketplace featuring local fine arts and crafts. Shoppers will find a variety of jewelry, functional ceramics, photography, paintings, cards, tags, ornaments and small scale works perfect for hostess or teacher gifts.
