“Returning Home: Additions to the Demuth Museum Collection”

"Returning Home" celebrates three new additions to the Demuth Museum and offers visitors a chance to see part of the museum’s collection of Demuth’s works, now the largest such collection in the world. The three recently added works are watercolors that range in date from 1907 to 1916. Titled "Portrait of a Woman," "Four Ladies," and "Woman in Black in an Alley," these additions help the museum fulfill its mission of collecting works from every part of Demuth’s career. Due…

Mrs. Reily was accomplished in the needle arts, serving as president of the Harrisburg Needle Work Guild for several years in the early 1900s.
