This class will be taught over 4 sessions on 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, & 1/30. This class is perfect for young beginner potters looking to build wheel throwing skills and explore clay as a medium. Students in this class will conquer throwing techniques including centering, pulling a form, and trimming. Students will glaze their stoneware pieces and take home anything that they make. As students progress, they will come to understand the properties of clay and the chemistry behind the art form. Every piece that is created during the class will be fired in the kiln free of charge. **Face masks are required and this class is socially distanced**
