Intro to Wheel Throwing: 5 Session Pottery Class at The Rivet at Discovery Space

An event every week that begins at 5:45pm on Thursday, repeating until December 17, 2020
Class Dates: 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Gain a thorough understanding of the basics of throwing on a wheel in this 5-week pottery class. Each session is 3 hours of wheel experience with expert instruction. This class will focus on the basic concepts of wheel thrown pottery, including centering, trimming, glazing, attaching pieces, and shaping different types of vessels. **Face masks are required, and this class is socially distanced**
BONUS: Any piece created in this class will be fired in the kiln free of charge.
BONUS: Students taking this class will be credited with a Day Pass so that they may return during workshop hours to glaze their piece or work on their own projects.
