Intro to Laser Cutting Class at The Rivet at Discovery Space

Get started with laser cutting. Discussion will cover laser capabilities, basic design, file prep, appropriate materials, safety, and operating procedure. Students will design their own keychain to take home and gain a clearance to use the Trotec Speedy 400 Laser Cutter during open workshop hours.
BONUS: Each student that takes this class will be credited with a Day Pass, receiving a day of access to the workshop to use for future projects.
