HEALTHY EATING ADVENTURE ONLINE COURSE

An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Tuesday, repeating until March 9, 2021
Give the Gift of Health! Join our February 2021 Healthy Eating Adventure (HEA). We’ve adapted our community HEA to a zoom event, meeting weekly Tuesday February 9, 2021 through Tuesday March 9, 2021. The Adventure provides the support and knowledge to maximize your health with Plant Based Eating.
The 28 day Adventure includes: a coach, course materials, ongoing support, and cooking demonstrations. Dr. Liz George’s discussions of the science supporting a whole foods plant based lifestyle, will help you gain the knowledge to empower your journey. All classes are held online, Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Lectures and demonstrations are “live” and “interactive:”
2/9 – HEA Intro – The Science Behind Plant Based Health.
Meet your coach: “How do I get started?”
2/13 – optional Grocery Tour onsite or virtual.
2/16 – The Magical Microbiome.
Knife Techniques /Chopping Demonstration.
Coach session: “Is 100% possible?”
2/23 – Prevent Inflammation, Reduce COVID Risk.
Fun with Kitchen Gadgets.
Coach session: Successes and Challenges.
3/2 – The Gut Brain Connection.
“It’s a Wrap”– Making healthy wraps.
Coach session: Favorite Recipes.
3/9 – Graduation – Sharing Success.
The cost for this 28 day non-profit course is: $45. Registration deadline: February 8, 2021.
The following NY Times best-selling guidebook is required for the HEA course: Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease: The Revolutionary, Scientifically Proven, Nutrition-Based Cure, by Caldwell B. Esselstyn Jr., M.D. The course book costs $9.99, and is separately purchased by attendees.
