Early Bird Tickets Available Now for Popular Winter Concert
April 2 @ 8:00 am - April 30 @ 5:00 pm
In response to the overwhelming success of her winter concert, Creative Soul Records artist Frances Drost has added a Sunday afternoon show to this year’s “Portraits of White” winter concert. Back by popular demand, the singer-songwriter will present her fifth annual holiday spectacular, complete with a 27-piece orchestra, on Saturday, December 15, at 7 P.M., followed by a second performance on Sunday, December 16, at 3 P.M. Both performances will be held at Christ Community Church, 1201 Slate Hill Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011. While “Portraits of White” includes all the trappings of an elegant Christmas concert—great music, a live orchestra, a beautiful and evocative venue—you will soon discover that it is much more than just another concert.
In “Portraits of White,” Drost shares not only her talents and heartwarming original music, she also shares herself—her unique expressions of winter and of the holidays as rendered by her own experiences. And she does so with uncompromising artistry as well as refreshing honesty.
This year’s concert has yet another line-up of top-notch musical entertainment. Backed by the stunning 27-piece orchestra, “Portraits of White” features a beautiful wintery mix of familiar Christmas carols and original seasonal compositions, all wrapped up in a delightful evening filled with stories, humor and incredible music.
A hallmark of the “Portraits of White” series is the musical surprises programmed into the concert—and this year is no exception. While there are plenty of great arrangements of familiar Christmas favorites, there are also several delightful new songs that will have you humming on your way out after the concert.
A music industry veteran, Drost has eight albums to her credit and has been working with Nashville-based label Creative Soul Records since 2007. Drost won “Female Artist of the Year” and was also nominated for “Inspirational Artist of the Year” at the 2009 Momentum Awards ceremony in Nashville, TN.
“Portraits of White” promises to be an unforgettable night that will remind you why the music of Christmas brings so much to this special holiday season. If you enjoyed last year’s concert, you will LOVE this year’s!
