Basil’s Book Buddies: A Nature Book Club
January 14 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
An event every month that begins at 1:00pm on day Second of the month, repeating until May 12, 2020
Homeschool students in 1st – 3rd grades, who love animals and are curious about nature, will love this book club.
Each month, Jennifer Ericson and Basil, her KPETS therapy-certified Border collie mix, will lead Book Buddies in activities and discussion.
Buddies will get to read books about animal behavior as well as a range of nature topics. Basil’s Book Buddies will not only discuss the books they read but also participate in topic-themed games and activities.
Children should read the book or any title on that topic ahead of time so they are prepared for discussion. This program is limited to 10 Buddies.
