Art & You (formerly called Mosaic) exhibit at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design features the work of Antonius-Tin Bui and Cupid Ojala, through Nov. 17. The artists both explore portraiture, applying innovative methods to traditional mediums. Both create work that reflects and examines identity, and elevates representation of the LGBTQ+ community.
Bui’s work at PCA&D highlights meticulous cut-paper installations and portraits that reflect their Vietnamese-American heritage as well as their identity as a gender nonbinary person. Ojala’s work deals with the concepts of transformation and desire. As a queer trans-man, Ojala uses ink and paper to explore ideas of traditional masculinity.
Art & You is open Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the Gallery, at 204 N. Prince St., Lancaster, is free.
