4-H Summer Camps
June 18 - July 26
An event every week that begins at 12:00am on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, repeating until July 26, 2018
The Penn State Extension, Dauphin County 4-H Program, this year traditionally is offering a variety of summer projects, June – July, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM for kids ages 5-16.
Limited to 20 campers per camp. Sign up by June 15th!
4-H Summer Camps are about making friends, enjoying new experiences, and participating in fun activities. A lot of activities are offered in a safe, supervised environment.
4-H Summer Camp Counselor Training – June 18 & 20, 2018 – (Limited to 10 camp counselors) For ages 13 and older would like to participant in our 4-H Summer Camp. You will receive training at this camp on how to be a Camp Counselor for our Summer Camps.
4-H Summer Camp Gardening for Wildlife – June 25, 27, & 28, 2018 – Campers will explore Wildlife habitat at our local county park and learn how garden habitat can encourage positive backyard wildlife encounters.
4-H Summer Camp Expressive Arts – July 9, 11, & 12, 2018 – Campers will create their own works of art while learning about styles of decorative handwriting and the stylized wildlife art of Charley Harper.
4-H Summer Camp Food Science – July 16, 18, & 19, 2018 – Is on the rise as campers learn about the chemical reactions in food that makes some of their favorite treats taste great.
4-H Summer Camp Pet Care – July 25 & 26, 2018 – We are 4-H Animal Science. Campers will learn how to care for, handle, and train small animals.
4-H Campers – Please bring a bagged lunch for each day. Snacks will be provided each day.
